Creating your own patterns

Pic above is the final of my first self created pattern
Hello Fellow Stitchers-
If you're like me, you like creating your own images for your embroidery. I like taking inspiration from my own pictures, Pinterest, coloring books, and more.
One of my absolute favorite places to get inspiration is Canva. I personally have the paid version but you can always use the free version and access some great ideas and inspiration.
Here are the steps that I follow when I create my own patterns on Canva:
- Chose a Print Product (I like to use "Coloring Page")
- Add a circle of the page and make it just an outline the size of the hoop that I am using
- In Elements, I choose Graphics.
- Pick Your Element.
- Download.
- Print.
Some ideas/words to get the creative juices flowing:
aesthetic, line art, doodles, outline, flowers, balloons, party, cozy, plant, plants, mid-century, art deco, rainbows, celestial, animals, cute animals, house, homes, boho.
Feel free to add some other ideas and words in the comments.
