10 Items You Can Add for Inspiration
Hi Stitchers-
I’ve been watching a lot of Facebook reels lately...I know, I know, what a waste of time! Alas. My favorites vary but I probably enjoy the Dollar Store hacks most.
This got me thinking about whether being creative makes you more creative. If I'm using myself as the example, I would say absolutely, 100%.
When I started embroidery, I followed the instructions in the kits. I used the colors and stitches that I was told to use. I got bored with that pretty quickly and started playing around with different colors and stitches. Then, I started making my own patterns. I used different fabric. I added beads.

It became pretty evident to me that I wasn't going to stop tweaking, evolving and adapting my work.
If you're into embroidery or other crafts and need some inspiration, here is a list of ideas:
- Beads (either large or small)
- Sequins
- Buttons
- Fabric
- Paint
- Jewelry (pins and brooches are awesome)
- Feathers
- Hot Glue
- Markers
- Pens
- Wire
I would love to hear if you have any suggestions to help our creativity. Until next time!
