15 NON Floral Embroidery Pattern Ideas

Hi Stitchers-

I embroider A LOT of flowers.  Single flowers, multiple flowers, bouquets of flowers, yards with flowers - I could go on and on and on.  Sometimes, I just don't want to embroider a flower (said while stomping my foot and crossing my arms).  

Some ideas are flower adjacent but I tried to come up with some creative ideas that can get your creative juices flowing.  I've also included some pictures in case you need even more inspiration.  Some of them will be things that you might already think of but I will put another spin on it.

Here are 15 ideas for what else you can embroider (that aren't all flower adjacent):

1. Buildings - houses, skyscrapers, neighborhoods 

2. People - close up, far away, detailed, silhouette

3. Jewelry - rings, bracelets, earrings

4. Mushrooms

5. Video Game characters

6. Accessories (other than jewelry) - shoes, purses, hats

7. Beverages - coffee cups, tea pots, cocktails

8. Insects - beetles, flies, ants

9. Vehicles - cars, trains, buses

10. Bikes - road bike, street bike, unicycle

11. Furniture - couches, chairs, beds

12. Body parts - brains, lungs, ears

13. Tools - hammers, saws, rakes

14. Maps 

15. Sports Teams - logos, mascots
